We’re excited to welcome you to our monthly wine tasting this weekend! As always, it’s the second Saturday of the month.

This month’s featured wines are from Kaena Wine Company in Santa Barbara’s Santa Ynez Valley. Joining us is the winemaker himself, Mikael Sigouin, an Oahu native who founded Kaena in 2001. Widely hailed as “The King of Grenache,” Mikael draws on his Hawaiian roots to craft balanced, elegant Rhône and Bordeaux-style wines.

This month’s tasting wines include:

• Hapa Blanc (Santa Ynez Valley) Bright and refreshing with vibrant citrus, tropical fruit, and crisp mineral notes.

• Grenache Rosé (Santa Ynez Valley) Elegant and vibrant with strawberry, watermelon, and a touch of floral spice.

• Grenache (Santa Ynez Valley) Juicy and versatile with red berry, herbs, and soft, approachable tannins.

• Hapa Red (Santa Ynez Valley) A lively Hawaiian-inspired blend with dark fruit, spice, and island soul.
